Fall time is the perfect time for crafty afternoons. A stunning weaving craft for kids and a laundry list of holiday crafts have been released on Kids Activities Blog. Seasoned moms are sharing their favorite ideas that sneak in a bit of learning while having a blast.
The kids will have lots of fun seeing ordinary paper transformed into little masterpieces. Materials for this project include 2 pieces of paper in contrasting colors, a pair of scissors, and adhesive tape. Follow the instructions about how to cut the paper according to the template provided on Kids Activities Blog.
Once cutting is complete, weave in the paper stripes to form a checkered pattern. Once a stripe is complete, fold over and tape on the back of the design. The finished masterpieces look great as wall displays, or can be used as pencil holder covers, or if laminated, can turn into cool place mates. Let the child's imagination roar.
More fun holiday crafts have been published on Kids Activities Blog and are sorted by Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas crafts.
Halloween crafts include a super cute candy bones recipe that will become the next family tradition. Other fun ideas include a Halloween bath activity and a super cool Halloween sensory bottle idea.
Thanksgiving crafts include a Pumpkin spice sensory rice activity, an Apple cinnamon play dough recipe, and an adorable apple tree craft.
Christmas craft ideas range from white glitter play dough recipes, to glitter play dough snowmen, to Christmas sensory bins and many more.
