Clipsi (http://www.clipsi.com) is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a finalist in the TechFlash Cup competition. Clipsi is a collaboration solution that enables business users to aggregate content from web pages (images, text, and videos) and files into spaces where teams can collaborate through discussing and sharing information.

The TechFlash Cup (http://www.bizjournals.com/seattle/techflashcup), which was conceived and launched by Emily Parkhurst of the Puget Sound Business Journal, pits 16 early stage companies against each other in a bid to get the attention of the Puget Sound investment community. To compete companies are required to have less than 20 employees and $10 million in total financing, and have been in business no more than three years.

Clipsi launched a limited feature personal edition into beta in early July of this year. The Clipsi beta is a valuable marketing tool for those marketers relying heavily on content to drive traffic. Clipsi boards can be created from multiple marketing collaterals (white papers, blogs, brochures, product literature, etc.) and can be embedded into web pages and blogs. Clipsi’s boards and clips engage readers in the content and act as an excellent promotional vehicle for organizations.

Clipsi’s full version will engage teams in the early phases of projects by giving them a private space to gather and share information, ideas, and thoughts. “It’s all about engaging teams in conquering their business challenges”, said Paul Yantus, CEO of Clipsi. “Businesses need to get more out of their employees. To do that, employees need to be more engaged. Clipsi uses content to get conversations started and teams working together.”

The TechFlash Cup competition began taking nominations in early July. As part of the nomination process companies were required to submit a 30 second promotional video. These videos go on display at TechFlash’s web site today, along with a company biography. Everyone is encouraged to review the nominations and vote for the company they view as most worthy of investment.
