Girls Guide to Paris ET PLUS and HOTEL VENDOME located on the famous Place Vendome will join together with luxury brands Perrin Paris, Ann Gerard Parfums, and Cristofle for a Champagne and Cocktail Launch Party on October 3rd, the close of Paris Fashion Week 2013, along with notable French luxury beauty brands. Ann Gerard Parfums, Cristofle, and Perrin Paris have each donated an exquisite selection of luxury gifts to raise money for the charity partners via a unique online platform ( and will be present for the festivities.

Paris Fashion Week 2013 is the perfect backdrop for the launch of the new e-magazine Girls Guide to Paris ET PLUS, an extension of the travel website Girls Guide to Paris that has a devoted fan base of over 100,000 readers monthly and more than 1.2 million yearly. Hotel Vendome is the presenting sponsor for the event.

The e-magazine’s launch issue features signature travel tips about Paris from “one girlfriend to another” but now there is ET PLUS (or “much more”) in each and every issue. The ‘more’ in the title refers to the myriad of global destinations the magazine will cover beyond the central destination city, Paris. The launch issue premiered on September 10, 2013 and features France in glorious detail: grape harvesting in Bordeaux, touring chateaux in the Loire Valley and a primer on the best Autumn Escapes in Provence. For urbanites, a side trip to London and New York features edgy and eclectic neighborhoods to prowl before winter arrives.

Each bi-monthly issue will continue to feature Paris and France as its central themes but will explore other world destinations (Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas) to inspire “Girls’ Guide” readers. The magazine will also offer lush travel photography making it a must-have for its devoted audience of ipad and smartphone users. In 2007, Whitney created Ubuntu Africa in response to her experience volunteering at a South African orphanage, where she saw children die due to lack of basic resources.
