One Sweet World Charity Event Seeks to Help Impoverished Children
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 17, 2013 -- The One Sweet World charity event is coming soon to Washington, D.C. Presented by two D.C.-based non-profit organizations—the Meant 2 Live Foundation and ShareACause—this charity gala will take place on October 4th at The Flying Bridge, an exquisite rooftop overlooking the Capitol and Union Station.
One Sweet World invites people around the district to embark on a journey that will help end childhood poverty. This semi-formal charity gala will feature an open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, a silent auction, and gift bags. The fun-filled evening will celebrate global diversity through music, unique culinary offerings, and a scenic ambiance with stunning views of the Capitol and Washington Monument.
Meant 2 Live supports the belief that all humans should live free of poverty, and seeks to transform impoverished communities through access to education, medical access and food programs. ShareACause is driven by a desire to connect members, volunteers, and corporate entities through chritable events, volunteer work and benevolent efforts. Together, the two organizations hope the One Sweet World charity gala will support poverty alleviation initiatives in Washington D.C. and Zambia, Africa.
The One Sweet World charity gala takes place on October 4th. Registration begins at 7:00 pm with the event from 7:30-11:00pm.
