The Third Annual Music City Guitar Tour is Underway, and Tim Leeper Roofing--Along with Local Sponsors--is Sweetening the Pot!
Nashville, Tennessee (PRWEB) September 17, 2013 -- If you haven’t heard about it already, the Music City Guitar Tour is underway! Nominations opened on August 15th, voting started on September 15th, and this year—in addition to their choice of a signed guitar—the winning charities will receive up to $2000 in cash prizes.
Having served the Nashville area for nearly 10 years, Tim Leeper Roofing—a locally owned and operated business—is an active supporter of Nashville’s non-profit community. And the Music City Guitar Tour—now in its third year—is an annual event that benefits local non-profit groups.
Local support has been impressive with lots of community participation. "I think we have a total of 12 charities that have been nominated right now,” says Leeper, “and we still have some time before the actual voting starts."
It’s not too late to nominate a deserving charity at http://www.musiccityguitartour.com/. In fact, according to Tim Leeper, the owner/operator of Tim Leeper Roofing and the founder/organizer of the annual event, “Nominations don't technically close…You can nominate somebody right up until the end of voting."
The awards ceremony and dinner will be held at Maggianos on October 18th from 11:30 to 1:00. At that time, the winners will receive their choice of a signed guitar, an opportunity to promote their cause, and a cash prize! Good People Studios (the video group within Good People Creative) will present a short introductory video highlighting a number of participating charities in the Nashville non-profit community. In addition, a photographer and videographer will be on-site to film this year’s proceedings and to prepare for a 2014 video.
Good People Creative’s social media team will also be on location to leverage the power of Twitter to connect the participating charities and to help spread the word about the Music City Guitar Tour. Using Instagram, YouTube/vimeo, and other social platforms, the social media team will also work to generate more community awareness for the attending charities.
The cash prizes were made possible by local sponsors All American Pest Control and Hiller Plumbing, and so far, the list of signed guitars includes Ricky Skaggs, Kings of Leon, The Black Crowes, and the cast of reality television’s Duck Dynasty.
The Music City Guitar Tour is happening now, so nominate your favorite non-profit and support a great event!
