Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announces the release of the “December 21st” Music Video by S.O.U.L. The project, presented by Coast 2 Coast Video Distribution, is now available for view on YouTube.

S.O.U.L is a Hip Hop group based out of Memphis,TN; consisting of rappers Idi Aah Que, Teco, and producer Dalair. S.O.U.L was formed back in 2009 while members Idi Aah Que and Teco were still in high school. They are influenced by many great artists such as Outkast, Kid Cudi, 2Pac, and Lauryn Hill; to name a few.

"December 21st" is a song that presents two freestyles on top of two different industry beats. The song starts out with Idi Aah Que dropping a smooth but fast and articulate flow on top of the "Cold War" beat, made popular by Lil B. He touches on real life messages about his experience as a African American male growing up in the South. This part of the video was shot on snow covered train tracks creating a really sharp image but dreary backdrop. All of a sudden the song changes to the "Bonfire" beat, made popular by Childish Gambino, and the scene goes dark. Next thing you know Teco is rapping in an aggressive manner, discussing anti-social-system messages as the visuals move on to the group burning politically charged images in a barrel fire.

"December 21st" really encompasses S.O.U.L's style which can only be described as "Soulful". With strong messages and impeccable flows, S.O.U.L deals with real life issues in an impactful and entertaining way. In an industry of artists rapping about the shallow virtues of acquiring fast money and fast women, S.O.U.L's anti-establishment and humanistic approach to lyricism is a refreshing reminder that true Hip Hop culture is not yet dead.
