Leading Infrastructure as a Service provider, Global Net Access (GNAX), announces that it is ready to welcome Nirvanix customers who were told today they have until the end of September to move their data. According to the story released on InformationAge, cloud storage startup, Nirvanix is shutting down due to financial difficulties. Customers only have two weeks to recover and move their data to another provider, such as GNAX.
“It is an unfortunate situation for these customers that we have seen many times in this industry,” commented Jeff Hinkle, Global Net Access chief executive officer. “Startups are great. They are the creative engines of our economy, but they are inherently risky. As a customer, it is hard to see that risk because you are receiving such a great product. That is until an announcement like this gets made.”
