Culinary Demo Scheduled for Tri-State Food Expo, October 2, 2013

Catherine McCord, founder of the Weelicious blog and book WEELICIOUS LUNCHES: Think Outside The Lunchbox with More Than 160 Happier Meals, provides realistic solutions to help chefs and menu developers think outside the box, and beyond the standard PB&J children’s menu. The Tri-State Food Expo takes place October 1-2 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ.

McCord will offer these tips at the upcoming Tri-State Food Expo, where she will introduce to the new trade show new foods that engage all five senses (think shapes, colors and texture) and address noteworthy strategies to appeal to picky eaters and those with food allergies. The audience will walk away with creative ideas that will keep customers and picky eaters coming back for more. Visitors to the trade show can see her in action on Wednesday, October 2 from 12:15 - 12:45pm.

Tri-State Food Expo serves the tri-state foodservice and retail markets, and is open only to qualified buyers and industry professionals.
