Hosted by Jimmy Johnson, the “Leading Edge” Series Explores American Exports in the Global Marketplace
(PRWEB) September 18, 2013 -- While “Made in America” holds a certain pedigree for products purchased in the United States, many American products and goods are also held in comparably high esteem elsewhere in the world, due to their quality, consistency, and design. However, in recent years, the trade deficit in the United States has continued to climb to unprecedented highs, thus meaning the country as a whole is using more foreign products than can, in turn, be produced and distributed. This discrepancy hurts both US businesses and the economy.
Many organizations, in an effort to curb these trends, have refocused on the global marketplace as a principle venue for distribution. By making products that are specifically serving various demographics of the world populous, these intuitive and innovative organizations are not only balancing the import/export market in America, but are also reestablishing the United States as a leader in the trade world.
“Leading Edge,” with host Jimmy Johnson, will be featuring some of the fascinating organizations, and the individuals behind them, through educational programming on Public Television. By focusing on the products and services that are selling well overseas, consumers can have a better grasp on the economic future and the organizations that will be thought leaders in years to come.
The series is distributed to Public Television stations throughout the United States and is not distributed through PBS. Please visit the Leading Edge website at http://www.leadingedgeseries.com or email the producers at info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com for more information.
