Reid Returns to Philadelphia as Chiefs, Eagles Kick Off Week 3
(PRWEB) September 18, 2013 -- Week 3 of the 2013 NFL season opens up with an intriguing matchup as Andy Reid leads the Kansas City Chiefs against the Eagles in Philadelphia on “Thursday Night Football.” Reid will be making his first trip to the “City of Brotherly Love” since the Eagles fired him at the conclusion of last season.
Reid’s return is just one of several notable games on the schedule, and PrintableBrackets.net has everything fans need to be ready for Week 3 of the NFL season.
“The reception Reid will receive from fans in Philadelphia is as anticipated as the game itself,” said Printable Brackets spokesperson Zaniel Worth. “Reid enjoyed a tremendous amount of success during his time in Philly, but he was never able to bring home the title the city is so desperately seeking.”
Printable Brackets is offering fans a complimentary Week 3 pick em schedule, which sees all 32 teams in action. The New England Patriots will put their 2-0 record on the line against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 2-0 Houston Texans will travel to Baltimore to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens. Meanwhile, something will have to give when the 0-2 New York Giants hit the road to face the 0-2 Carolina Panthers.
“Many people didn’t expect both the Giants and Panthers to still be in search of their first win in Week 3,” said Worth. “Reaching the playoffs after starting the season with two straight losses is unlikely enough. Doing it with three straight losses is nearly impossible.”
In the Sunday night affair, the 2-0 Chicago Bears will clash with the 0-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. Week 3 wraps up with the unbeaten Denver Broncos hosting the Oakland Raiders.
