Bluefin Media, Inc. (http://www.BluefinMedia.com), an empowering, entertaining, and engaging lifestyle digital media company, announces event sponsorship of Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence (ADAI) largest fundraiser of the year Dealin’ for Dogs Casino Night. ADAI is an organization that helps both adults and children with disabilities to gain a greater independence.
The stakes were high, the players were all-in, and the poker chips were out as the 8th annual Dealin’ for Dogs Casino Night took place on September 14, 2013 in support of ADAI. From live music, food and games to a cash bar and the most important stars of the night, the therapy dogs. This event was a hit with over 400 guests in attendance. Bluefin Media is proud to say they were a part of the fundraiser.
“With over 20 sponsors for the event, Bluefin Media supported this event and we sincerely appreciate the community support. It makes a huge difference in our operations since we rely 100% on donations to place dogs with individuals with disabilities to help them live more independently,” states Karen Bade, a volunteer for Assistance Dogs Program and the Co-Chair for Dealin’ for Dogs Casio Event.
“Bluefin has been a supporter of ADAI for the past three years and strongly believes in their mission. We have seen the difference that the dogs make for individuals and want to be a part of such life altering assistance,” states Dr. Steve Mandell, Chairman of Bluefin Media.
To say that these amazing dogs bring miracles to those in need would be an understatement. Therapy dogs are trained to work with disabilities that range from muscular dystrophy and spina bifada to adults and children with cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries to help these individuals achieve their fullest potential.
ADAI dogs have given numerous individuals the chance to hit the jackpot and achieve greater success in their lives. From helping individuals to gain the ability to perform simple everyday tasks and embark on a new social life, ADAI has goals similar to Bluefin Media in giving individuals the tools to flourish.
