NBMBAA - NJ Chapter Celebrates 30 Years of Service
Newark, NJ (PRWEB) September 20, 2013 -- The New Jersey Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. is pleased to announce its 30th Anniversary Corporate Gala: Business Leadership through Challenging Times. It will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 – 6:30pm at the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel, 1000 Spring Street, Elizabeth, NJ. Proceeds from the event will support the organization’s scholarship fund.
This year’s honored guest and keynote speaker will be the Honorable Marc H. Morial, President & CEO of the National Urban League, the renowned civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment in order to elevate the standard of living in historically under-served urban communities.
Among other honored guests of the New Jersey Chapter will include Mr. Jesse Tyson, Interim President & CEO of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. and a host of corporate partners.
The event will feature and recognize outstanding minority-owned New Jersey businesses that proved their resiliency through Hurricane Sandy and still served as models of outstanding service to their community. Individuals who have demonstrated success in entrepreneurship, community service will be recognized alongside the organization’s Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) ® Program participants and scholarship recipients for 2013.
