Whether it is her “little cocoon” by her horse stables in the U.K., or her studio out in the Arizona desert, when Francesca feels she has, “something to say” her voice resonates.

Singer and songwriter Francesca Evans announces the release of her new CD “Loose Ends,” in the United States and the United Kingdom. Spanning several genres, "Loose Ends" is a blend of contemporary and Americana, show casing Evans' versatility as an artist.

With eighteen tracks, the title track an original, “Loose Ends” reached the Top 100 in Europe for digital downloads. Produced by Kyle Harris at PlayR Recording in Arizona, "Loose Ends" features mandolin and violin instrumentals, as well as beautiful, vocal harmonies.

Though most of the songs are covers, songs that made Francesca’s “spine tingle” the title track, "Loose Ends" is an original. A deeply personal song, Francesca wrote "Loose Ends" in memory of her father. For Francesca, the writing process has been crucial in her evolution as a musician.

With the completion and release of "Loose Ends," Francesca continues to tackle new challenges. “Loose Ends” has inspired Francesca to pursue songwriting and it is now her focus. She is currently in the recording studio working on her next album of all originals.

A modern Renaissance woman, Francesca Evans is not just a musician. She is a dancer, actor, designer, traveler, athlete, and philanthropist. Francesca moves between her creative pursuits with fluidity.

Francesca’s relationship with nature and her own “sense of oneness” with herself is important to her music. At times, photography inspires Francesca to “conjure” new lyrics, at others, it is the shared bonds with her horse when riding, and then there are her travels.

Travel is Francesca’s continuous source of inspiration. She wrote “Sapphires in the Sky” after visiting Northern India. “The children begging on the streets made me feel I had to write this song and the words just poured out of me,” she said.

Currently, Francesca spends eight months in the United States and four months in Europe each year. She finds the Scottsdale, Arizona music scene, where she resides in the U.S., to be “stimulating” and a place where it is “impossible not to get excited.” It is a testament to Francesca’s musical talent that she is able to sing classic, American folk with such depth and feeling, considering her London roots.

Francesca has the ability to inhabit her changing environments fully and embody them in her art, which may be one reason why she is so productive. Whether it is her “little cocoon” by her horse stables in the U.K., or her studio out in the Arizona desert, when Francesca feels she has, “something to say” her voice resonates.

Her current focus is on forming a new band and finishing her latest CD that will feature all originals. She knows she has “tall orders” ahead, but Francesca pursues her music in the same way she pursues life, with an openness and oneness. Soon she will check off another milestone in her career only to make way for another.
