Bon Jovi Tickets Jam on BuyAnySeat.com After Band Books Added Tour Dates
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- Vintage 1980’s jam band Bon Jovi is in South America this month, on their Because We Can – The Tour. After a sold out European swing, the group hit major stadiums such as Soldier Field, Ford Field and Metlife Stadium in July.
Now, after gigs in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Monagas, Buenos Aires, and Iztacalco in September, Bon Jovi resumes their North American tour at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on October 2, 2013.
The coast-to-coast trek, which is set to promote the New Jersey based rockers' 12th studio album, What About Now, is named after one of the new album’s singles.
After Vancouver, concerts are scheduled for the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma and Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington; and the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Honda Center in Anaheim and Staples Center Los Angeles, California.
“Ticket sales for Bon Jovi are surging, partly due to the success of their latest tour and the addition of new dates by popular demand,” said Felina Martinez at online ticket marketplace BuyAnySeat.com.
“That’s why we’re proud to offer fans the most comprehensive and continuously refreshed selection of concert tickets online, with a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase,” said Martinez.
“To access the complete inventory of Bon Jovi tickets we now have available, customers can go to BuyAnySeat.com and search for Bon Jovi – then select their tickets,” said Martinez.
Next on the schedule: the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada; AT&T Center in San Antonio and American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas; Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Pinnacle Bank arena in Lincoln, Nebraska; Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin; United Center in Chicago, Illinois; Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.; and Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
More new dates have been added at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Penn. on November 5 and PNC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 6. The current wrap for the latest North American leg is set for the Centre Bell in Montreal, Canada on November 8, 2013.
Formed in 1983 in New Jersey, the Bon Jovi line up consists of Jon Bon Jovi (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), David Bryan (keyboards, backing vocals), Tico Torres (drums), Hugh McDonald (bass guitar, backing vocals), Bobby Bandiera (guitar, backing vocals) and Phil X (lead guitar, substitute for Richie Sambora on leave).
The band found their greatest success with their album Slippery When Wet in 1986. The rockers had three of their biggest hits on the Billboard Number One album, including “You Give Love a Bad Name”, “Wanted Dead or Alive”, and “Livin’ on a Prayer”.
Critics applaud the band for the eclectic combination of rock, country and pop influences in their music. Bon Jovi is also known for their dazzling staging and special effects, which allow the high-octane band to literally explode off the stage.
Some of the band's recent South American dates had to be rescheduled for later this month due to drummer Tico Torres, who underwent an emergency appendectomy on Tuesday September 10. Thankfully, the operation was a success and Tico is now recovering thanks to the care of his doctors at the American British Cowdray Hospital in Mexico.
After a recent Bon Jovi concert in front of 55,000 adoring fans at MetLife Stadium in their home state of New Jersey, one critic wrote: “the `Because We Can’ tour is all about giving the crowd an old fashioned summertime rock-and-roll party. "Bon Jovi delivers it all expertly, and without apology.” (Source: Live Review, Jim Beckerman, northjersey.com)
Another concert-goer wrote, “A three hour, full-throttle roller coaster ride of emotions – from exuberance to nostalgia – and all of the goose bumps in-between.”
Bon Jovi has 12 studio albums and has put on more than 2,800 concerts attended by over 35 million fans in over 50 countries around the world. The group has also sold over 130 million albums, making it one of the most successful bands of all time. (Source: wikipedia.org)
