Expanded version of the Stratus Video remote interpretation app with updated menus and intuitive design released on September 20th

Stratus Video is the only product that can deliver highly trained video interpreters within 30-seconds or less, on-demand.

Stratus Video, a video remote interpretation app that connects limited English proficiency
speakers to a live video interpreter in 30-seconds or less on-demand, is releasing an updated
version of the app across all platforms on Sept. 20th. The Stratus App new design features more languages listed on each page, easier page to page jumping, and a more extensive text display to convey more information on each language.

Stratus Video is an innovative interpretation service that provides live interpreters via video call on WiFi or 4G 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Based in Clearwater, FL, Stratus Video is the only product that can deliver highly trained interpreters within 30-seconds or less on an encrypted, private network that handles over 62,000 video calls per day. The newest version of the app features a menu offering American Sign Language, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese for Video Remote Interpreting with an additional 200 languages for audio interpretation.

The Stratus App is currently used the most in healthcare, and has received nothing but positive reviews from clients. An emergency room nurse who uses Stratus Video recently said “The [Stratus] program is fabulous, I think it’s the best interpretation service so far. It’s easy to use…it’s the perfect thing for here.” The newest version of the app should prove to be even more effective.

Stratus Video is changing the way interpretation is done in healthcare, courts, and business. It is
a sleek, easy to use app that works on a cloud-based network on your iPad, Android, Windows,
Mac Cisco & Polycom systems. “This latest update makes the Stratus App more intuitive and
easy to use…reaching a remote interpreter has never been faster,” said Stratus Video President,
David Fetterolf.

Stratus Video Interpreting is based on the concept originally applied at ZVRS, the video relay service for the deaf and hard of hearing. Stratus is dedicated to using the technology at our disposal today to quickly and effectively connect people regardless of location
or language/cultural barriers.
