Innovest Systems Partners with Impact Network in Charitable Campaign
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- Innovest Systems, a financial technology firm specializing in trust accounting and wealth management solutions, today announced its charitable partnership with Impact Network. Impact Network, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2009, is transforming education in rural Africa with e-Learning. Impact Network’s eSchool 360 sustains high-quality education for less than $3 a month per student. By empowering teachers with a projector and tablet loaded with activity-based lessons, Impact Network strives to provide every child with access to a quality education.
In partnering for this campaign, Innovest aims to provide a complete set of tablets for one Impact Network school in Zambia serving up to 250 students. The tablets will be pre-loaded with a complete curriculum for grades 1-7 as well as adult learning content created by iSchool, Impact Network’s curriculum partner.
“At Innovest, we recognize that technology properly applied can be transformative,” said Fraylie Nord, who leads Innovest Systems’ philanthropic endeavors. “Impact Network shares our philosophy through its approach to education and the use of technology in the classroom. The organization’s tablet-based learning model is shaped and driven by the teachers and students who use the technology most. We are thrilled to partner with Impact Network in its mission to provide quality education.”
“This campaign will be crucial to providing a quality education to 250 children in rural Zambia,” said Reshma Patel, Executive Director of Impact Network. “These tablets will make it possible for us to deliver a robust curriculum and increase the effectiveness of teaching and learning in our schools,” Ms. Patel expressed gratitude to Innovest Systems saying, “We appreciate this gift from Innovest and look forward to future collaborations.”
