Crystal Ski Holidays takes learning to ski to a new level with skiing lessons from Sir Steve Redgrave
(PRWEB UK) 20 September 2013 -- Not only is Sir Steve Redgrave a five times Olympic champion, he is also a qualified ski instructor and all levels of skiers are invited to join the special one-day event at Snozone in Milton Keynes. This event is part of the Slide2Sochi Olympic themed road show which has been organised to get people ready and excited for the 2014 Winter Olympics which are to be held in Sochi, Russia during February 2014.
This is a great day for families and those who have never tried skiing or snowboarding before as there is so much to take part in. Beginners can try a free taster lesson and sit in an Olympic Bobsleigh with members of the GB Bobsleigh team. The more experienced and competitive can race against top skiers Jess Anderson and Megan Riley. There will be Tirolean music being played by the High Society Band at the après-ski area to get everyone into the mountain spirit.
The Slide2Sochi event which is being run by governing body Snowsport England and supported by Crystal Ski Holidays and the Tirol Tourist Board will be held on 5 October and starts at 11am.
