The appointment of Christensen, a leading loyalty and payment executive, signals a strong focus on product innovation and key market verticals to drive the growth of RewardStream’s core loyalty and referral marketing products. Former CEO, Peter Oxley, is actively assisting in the transition and continues as a shareholder and consultant to the company.

Christensen’s experience ranges from start-ups to small public companies, to billion dollar corporations. He sold his first company to RBC for over $17 million and was a recipient of the Business in Vancouver 40 under 40 Award. He has worked with brands such as Radio Shack, Nike, Levi Strauss, and Eddie Bauer and was involved in innovative loyalty solutions for credit card issuers including RBC, CIBC, Citibank, Sears, and Home Depot.
After joining RewardStream in January 2013 as EVP Business Development and Sales, Christensen was instrumental in forming new sales strategies, which continue to drive the company forward. Prior to joining RewardStream, Christensen was founder and CEO of Conasys, an award-winning technology start-up, EVP of Emerging Markets with TSYS Loyalty, and CEO of Ernex Marketing Technologies, which was acquired by RBC and is now a division of Moneris Solutions.
