The complimentary one-hour webinar, “LMS Considerations for Compliance-Related Training,” is scheduled for 1:00 EDT on Tuesday, September 24. Time will be reserved for attendee questions. Guest presenter Dr. Jeff Flesher will discuss how to approach compliance training from a holistic perspective, spanning business needs and objectives, internal processes, and technology support.
“Too often companies rely on vendors for assurance that LMS technology will result in compliance without a comprehensive view of the requirements and approaches actually needed,” said Flesher, president of Prairie Fire Development. Flesher has worked with a wide range of companies with complex compliance requirements, including Biomet, Underwriters Laboratories, Abbott Laboratories, and the Nuclear Generation Group of Commonwealth Edison (Excelon, Inc.).
LearnShare CTO Rob Houck will conduct a short demonstration of key features and functionality highlighted by Flesher in the second part of the presentation. “We advise prospective buyers to look for flexibility and easy configurability when evaluating LMSs for compliance training,” said Houck. The LearnShare solution is used for compliance-related by a range of companies, including Oceaneering and Biomet.
