Beach Properties Honored by Red Cross for Their Support & Supports Another Community Organization
Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) September 20, 2013 -- Beach Properties of Hilton Head was honored this month for their support of the American Red Cross Heroes for Fire Victims Campaign. Funds raised through this campaign assist individuals who have been affected by home fires. They provide food, clothing, shelter, lost medications and mental health counseling. The donation made by Beach Properties directly supported a family affected by fire here on Hilton Head Island. Beach Properties has also committed to helping two families during the coming year.
This donation is part of Beach Properties initiative to be an Outstanding Community Partner “Giving back to the community that gives so much to us is an important part of our corporate culture," stated Ray and Linda Moloney, owners of Beach Properties of Hilton Head. “Each year we designate a portion of our earnings to support local Island charities and the people who live here.” Moloney is pictured above receiving a plaque from Kevin Sevier, a Red Cross Volunteer and Gordon Robertson, Regional Major Gifts Officer for the American Red Cross.
In the past month, Beach Properties has also supported the Programs for Exceptional People (PEP) organization as a sponsor of their Annual Fall Gala. The mission of PEP is to empower adults with special needs in southern Beaufort County by promoting independence and offering opportunities for social growth and maturity.
