Singer-Songwriter Marc Broussard and Full Sail University to Release Concert Video, Marc Broussard LIVE from Full Sail University
Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) September 20, 2013 -- Today, recording artist Marc Broussard, in collaboration with Full Sail University, announced the upcoming release date for Marc Broussard LIVE from Full Sail University, the artist’s first live concert video, set to be released on Blu-ray and DVD on October 10, 2013.
Coming on the heels of Broussard’s latest album of the same name, the concert film documents Broussard’s live performance shot on location at Full Sail on Valentine’s Day 2013. The disc will include footage from Broussard's standing room only performance at Full Sail Live during the university’s acclaimed Hall of Fame Week celebration. Special features include select tracks from an acoustic set recorded at Orlando-based independent record store, Park Ave CDs, as well as guitar tutorials captured while at Full Sail. These special features are only available on the Blu-ray edition of the concert.
Marc Broussard LIVE from Full Sail University contains over an hour of live recordings featuring fourteen tracks including: Home, Lonely Night In Georgia, The Wanderer, A Life Worth Living, Come In From The Cold, Let Me Leave, Beauty Of Who You Are, and Hope For Me Yet, as well as the never-before-released Paradis, Au Long De La Riviere, Mardi Gras, Dyin’ Man, Sonya’s Song, and Shine.
This project was a unique collaboration between Marc Broussard and Full Sail University as net proceeds from the sale of both the concert video and the already-released audio CD goes toward a Marc Broussard/Full Sail University scholarship fund. Marc Broussard will present the first $5000 scholarship during the official video release event to be held at Full Sail University in October.
“It was a pleasure creating the Live at Full Sail DVD with Full Sail University. They went above and beyond in creating the best possible quality DVD I have ever seen,” said Broussard. “It’s amazing that we were able to create a great product for my fans and at the same time create a scholarship that will help a student get the great education Full Sail offers.”
“Marc is an extraordinary talent, and it’s a testament to his generosity that this partnership will result in scholarships for Full Sail students,” said Ken Goldstone, Full Sail’s Chief Operating Officer, who also served as Executive Producer alongside Broussard on the project. “We are so proud of, and thankful to, the Full Sail students, alumni, and staff who participated in the successful production of the concert and the ensuing CD release and concert video.”
