Farm Aid Uses Ez Texting to Help Manage 2013 Annual Benefit Concert
Santa Monica, Calif. and Saratoga Springs, NY (PRWEB) September 20, 2013 -- Ez Texting, the cloud-based text platform that enables businesses to reach customers directly, and Farm Aid, the nonprofit organization whose mission is to keep family famers on the land, today announced Farm Aid will leverage the Ez Texting platform as a new, more effective way to communicate with media attendees at the annual family farm benefit festival. Looking to improve communication with journalists who need up-to-the-minute updates on important scheduling and logistical details while covering the show, Farm Aid turned to Ez Texting to relay messages instantaneously to constituents reporting on the concert. Now, more than 250 on-the-go members of the media can stay informed on all aspects of the concert without requiring access to a computer, e-mail or Farm Aid personnel for information.
“Media who are busy covering all aspects of the concert event need to stay up to speed on the key updates that impact them and Ez Texting makes that process fast and seamless for both journalists and organizers alike,” said Shane Neman, CEO of Ez Texting. “We’re excited to build this partnership and help Farm Aid streamline communication to other audiences, including staff and fans, for future concerts.”
The Ez Texting platform will be used to power text messages and alert media to important scheduling updates and logistical details, for artists including Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds, in addition to Jack Johnson, Amos Lee, Jamey Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sasha Dobson, Carlene Carter, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Bahamas, Pegi Young & The Survivors, Jesse Lenat, Insects vs. Robots and The Blackwood Quartet.
