Morris Plains, New Jersey (PRWEB) September 21, 2013
The Autosport Automotive Group is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Greater Morris Area Walk For Autism Speaks will take place on October 5th at Central Park in Morris Plains. As the premier sponsor of the walk, Autosport Automotive Group raised $26,500 for Autism Speaks at their three dealerships in April during Autism Awareness Month. Acura of Denville, Autosport Honda, and Fiat of Morris County each pledged a dollar amount for every car sold as well as a percentage of labor and parts sales. In the end, the stores raised nearly $27,000, more than doubling the amount they raised last year. Autosport Auto Group V.P. Steven Lustig says, "I am the father of an Autistic child. Naturally, it's a cause very close to my heart. Autism Speaks is an incredible organization made up of amazing people doing amazing things both in the community and research facilities. We're proud to be a part of it and honored to be the premier sponsor of the Morris Area Walk."
