Wayne Brady in Westport to Benefit Homes with Hope
Westport, CT (PRWEB) September 22, 2013 -- Homes with Hope is hosting its 6th Annual “Stand Up for Homes with Hope” on Saturday November 2, 2013. This year’s show, entitled “Whose Show is it Anyway?,” will star the improvisational comedic artist, Wayne Brady. The event will be held at the Westport Country Playhouse (25 Powers Ct, Westport, CT 06880). Tickets range from $100 - $200 and all proceeds benefit Homes with Hope. Wayne Brady will be performing a stand-up comedy act mixed with his musical and improvisational talents used to interact with the audience. Brady is best known for his work on the show Whose Line is it Anyway? and as host of Let’s Make a Deal. His credits include television, theater and film. Homes with Hope is a Westport-based grassroots response to the tragedy of homelessness. With a caring, professional staff and the help of more than 400 volunteers, they assist people who have lost their ability to lead normal lives. Each night, over 85 people find shelter or housing in one of Homes with Hope’s facilities.
