Helping Parks & Recreation Professionals Create Cultures of Innovation at 76th MRPA Annual Conference
Delano, MN (PRWEB) September 23, 2013 -- Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground equipment manufacturer, along with its Minnesota playground consultant, Flagship Recreation, will exhibit at the 76th Minnesota Recreation and Park Association Annual Conference Sept. 24-27, in Brooklyn Center. The conference will feature Dr. Richard D. Brynteson, Concordia University professor, as the keynote speaker. This learning experience was made possible through the 2013-2014 State Association Speaker Scholarship program from Landscape Structures.
In Brynteson’s keynote, he’ll provide attendees with ideas to become more innovative and help build a culture of innovation. The DNA of innovators and innovative organizations will be explored. We as individuals are all asked to do more with less, and being innovative will help with that task. Session attendees will leave Brynteson’s keynote with concrete ways to instill an innovative spirit in their organizations.
This 90-minute keynote will be presented at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27. Following the session, conference attendees can learn more on this topic from John McConkey, market insights manager at Landscape Structures, and Jennifer Fink from Ramsey County, in a session about lean process improvement at 10:45 a.m. Even more, on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Flagship Recreation and Landscape Structures will be in the exhibit hall talking about the latest trends in playground design including inclusive play and signature designs.
