Flash Point Creates Video Submission Contest on Social Media to Launch Ford Fusion Energi Hybrid

Ford Motor Company partnered with Flash Point to launch Fusion Energi Adventure, an ambitious road trip and video submission contest on social media where one lucky contestant will win a dream road trip, a new 2013 Ford Fusion Energi and their very own reality TV show pilot.

Flash Point Communications recently launched an ambitious road trip and video submission contest on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine to promote Ford’s new plug-in hybrid, the Ford Fusion Energi.

Called the Fusion Energi Adventure, one lucky contestant will win their very own dream road trip, plus a new 2013 Ford Fusion Energi. Then, the road trip will be taped and edited, producing the winner’s very own reality TV show pilot.

“This contest is about demonstrating how far our contestants can go in a Fusion Energi on one tank/charge, and the incredible stories they can create,” said Scott Empringham, CEO of Flash Point Communications. “We can’t wait to see what people submit.”

All contestants must submit a homemade video, describing their own dream road trip. Ultimately, the contest will be judged by Ford executives, as well as Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Krish Sharma, whose credits include music from the Rolling Stones, Al Green and Brian Wilson.
