On behalf of ISSP, Ms. Sharon Grey, co-founder of the Mentair Group, served as lead instructor for the first Auditor Qualification Course, held in Tempe, Arizona. Ms. Grey developed the course curriculum based on her extensive experience in aviation safety and quality auditing. “We are proud to be one of the International Society of Safety Professionals’ recognized training providers”, said Ms. Grey. “We support the ISSP initiative to ‘Lead Safety into the Future’ by providing quality education and training opportunities for safety professionals from all industries.”
“We applaud the ISSP for offering free training slots whenever possible to other nonprofit organizations (such as) Habitat for Humanity and United States Veterans Initiatives. It was especially gratifying for us to be able to provide two veterans with complementary training slots on the anniversary of 9/11,” she added. “They have done so much for this country; it is nice to give them something that will hopefully help them find work in the civilian workplace.”
Ms. Grey and co-founding partner Nathan Predoehl received their ISSP training certificates at the class in Tempe from Mr. D Smith, CEO of the International Society of Safety Professionals. Nathan stated, “We are honored to be recognized by such a prestigious organization and we look forward to a long-lasting and meaningful working relationship with the ISSP."
