Richmond, Va. (PRWEB) September 23, 2013
AMC Technology, a global leader in multi-channel contact center integration software, has recently begun working with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) students this semester on a Senior Design Project. A group of students in the Computer Science Department will get to work with AMC’s team over the next year to create and develop innovative new technology.
Along with the VCU student project, AMC Technology’s Founder and CTO, Anthony X. Uliano, has recently joined the VCU Industrial Advisory Board, sponsored by the School of Engineering.
The Industrial Advisory Board at VCU serves as a link between the department and local, state and national businesses, as well as federal agencies and other universities. The Board advises the department on business trends and provides feedback to students in preparation for entering the Computer Science industry.
“VCU has an incredible computer science program and we’re very excited to be involved” said Anthony X. Uliano. “AMC is working to increase our involvement in the local software engineering community and this is an important part of it.”
Founded in 1995 in Richmond, Virginia, AMC is excited to continue to support the local Richmond Software Engineering community and surrounding schools and, in doing so, further increase their local involvement of technology groups in the area.
