InfoTrends’ Arianna Valentini to Present at RIT’s 2013 CMIC Summit
Weymouth, MA (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- InfoTrends is pleased to announce that Arianna Valentini, a Research Analyst for InfoTrends’ Production Group, will be presenting at the 2013 Cross-Media Innovation Center (CMIC) Summit on October 10, 2013 in Rochester, NY.
The CMIC event, organized by Rochester Institute of Technology, has been designed to generate captivating discussions with cross-media communication industry experts. The two-day event, taking place October 9-10, 2013 at the Rochester Inn & Conference Center in Rochester, NY, will examine pressing issues and relevant topics facing the graphic communications industry.
During a 30-minute session entitled “Production Color Digital Print Capabilities Beyond Four Color,” Valentini will showcase what capabilities are being offered, which vendors are in the market, who the new entrants are, and how 5+ colors can be a value-add for print service providers. Vendor capabilities will be separated out into the six main categories (i.e., spot color, gamut expansion, specialty, coating, textured, and security) of 5+ color capabilities as defined by InfoTrends, and discussed in regards to the range of capabilities that can be completed using these effects.
“Many print service providers are looking for ways to expand their offerings beyond the traditional printing method of just CMYK,” commented Valentini. “I’m looking forward to providing attendees with information that will help them plan for business growth that InfoTrends has gathered through desk research and interviews with vendors.”
“We’re pleased to have Arianna join us in this year’s CMIC Summit,” noted Chris Bondy, Gannett Distinguished Professor; Administrative Chair, School of Media Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology. “Her insights will bring a high-level of content to the program and is sure to engage the audience in a constructive discussion.”
In addition to the presentation, print samples will be provided to allow participants to see for themselves the impact of these effects. To learn more about the 2013 CMIC Summit, visit: http://www.rit.edu/cias/cmic/.
