San Jose Christian School Students Showcase Cardboard Challenge Creations at the 10th Annual SJCS Walk-a-Thon

San Jose Christian School invites Campbell and San Jose community and business members to join them for their annual "SJCS Walk-a-Thon" event on October 5, 2013, at San Jose Christian School, 1300 Sheffield Avenue, Campbell, CA 95008, where they'll debut their student Cardboard Challenge creations.

'This is our 10th year hosting this Walk-a-Thon, and every year we've not only accomplished our fundraising goals, but continued to increase participation,' said Betsy Phillips, Director of Community Development.

The 2013 SJCS Walk-a-Thon starts at 9:00 AM, with participant registration beginning at 8:30 AM. Signups will be at the Middle School Field. New this year will be the Cardboard Challenge Arcade." Game booths, face painting, Euro bungee, and more will also be set up for the whole family to enjoy. Seating is available for supporters to watch and enjoy the fun.

"We know many will be amazed by the innovation of our students and their Cardboard Challenge creations."

During the event, participants are invited to enjoy food from Big Ed's Buzzard BBQ and Kona Ice and music by DJ Pterodactyly Sound.
