The company is pleased to announce the launch of their YouTube series, aptly titled “Tales From the Help Desk,” which takes a satirical look at the world of customer support. BrightBox Solutions, the creators of Help Desk Premier, in partnership with Think Tall Films, just launched the first episode in this ongoing series, which will be regularly updated and stars Paula Gilbert, Simon Thompson, and Emily Hartridge. Hartridge is a popular actress and spokesperson in the UK, with her own dedicated following, including a YouTube channel with over 70,000 subscribers.
Each of the episodes in the series will focus on the real-life and very humorous situations encountered by both BrightBox Solutions technicians, and their customers.
“Throughout our own years in the business, we’ve heard countless funny stories from our customers, and the world of operating a support desk is often filled with anecdotes of amusing, and even downright ridiculous occurrences,” said Patrick Strahan, Director of Media and Public Relations. “We really wanted to take a light-hearted approach to what we do, which all-too frequently can seem extremely technical. This series is one that we hope will give our customers a laugh, and we think it’s a creative and innovative way to show the world what we do here every day.”

The first episode of the newly launched series focuses on a customer who calls for support while believing her laptop’s disk drive is a drink tray.
“These stories that we've gathered from our own experiences, and heard from our customers through the years are really going to have you stopping and saying, wait, did that actually happen?” said Strahan. “That’s what so great about this—the real nature of the episodes. We’re really looking forward to seeing our audience’s reaction.”
