Dr. Gargiulo went on to cite U.S. Department of Labor statistics which indicate a plethora of career opportunities in the hotel and restaurant management fields. "It’s estimated that by 2020, employment in lodging management will rise to 55,700 and another 310,000 individuals will find fulfilling careers as foodservice managers."

Ashworth’s Hotel Management Courses        

The Certified Hotel and Restaurant Management Career Diploma program from Ashworth College is comprised of 20 easy-to-follow lessons that are available for online study. Each lesson begins with a subject matter preview and objectives, an introductory note from the instructor, and a vocabulary builder of new words and terms. The certified course covers practical topics such as:

  •     Package plans including travel, events and tourist activities.

  •     Understanding room count and availability.
