JumpstartMD is preparing for its third year sponsoring San Francisco's Bridge to Bridge Run (benefiting the Special Olympics). This year the company is working hard to encourage an even greater attendance than last year with the recently launched "Training Week with Jumping Man" contest.

“Bridge to Bridge is a wonderful event we love to support. It’s a real celebration of healthy living and fun exercise that, most importantly, benefits a great cause – the Special Olympics,” says COO and Co-Founder of JumpstartMD, Dr. Conrad Lai.

Few race courses are as beautiful as that of the Glide Floss Annual San Francisco Bridge to Bridge Run – and few things are as gratifying as supporting a great cause like that of the Special Olympics. This will be JumpstartMD’s third year sponsoring the race and encouraging an even greater attendance than last year with the recently launched “Training Week with Jumping Man,” contest.

Jumping Man, JumpstartMD’s official mascot (inspired by the jumping figure on the company logo), will show Facebook fans the tips to ready themselves for the run by highlighting several insights from the medically supported weight loss program. From a simple link posted to http://www.facebook.com/JumpstartMD, non-patients and patients alike can enter to win free race entries, t-shirts and a special grand prize.

The JumpstartMD program’s mission is to reeducate patients to understand the best possible way to fuel their bodies while losing weight. The program focuses on patients consuming real, whole foods while facilitating true and sustainable lifestyle changes to ensure the weight comes off and stays off long-term.
