The MuttNation Foundation thanks the charity Animal Support and its cofounders Julian Omidi, Dr. Michael Omidi and Maria Abacafor supporting their efforts to provide pet spay and neuter programs, medical treatments, adoptions, transportation, and legislative changes.

“We are grateful for the backing of Animal Support which will help ensure the continued success of our multi-faceted animal rescue and welfare programs,” says Bev Lambert, cofounder of MuttNation Foundation. “We are very grateful to Animal Support for helping us to end pet suffering and homelessness in the U.S. and around the world.”

MuttNation Foundation was formed by Bev and Miranda Lambert, the reigning four-time Female Vocalist of the Year for the County Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. The organization hosts a variety of animal welfare promotions and adoption support events in conjunction with Lambert’s national concert tour.

Last year, MuttNation rendered financial support to many animal shelters and sanctuaries across the U.S. including: The Humane Society of East Texas, the Tishomingo Animal Shelter, and New Jersey’s PopCorn Zoo that renders aid, rescue and shelter to displaced and/or abandoned wildlife and zoo animals. Additionally, a fan-voted campaign in cooperation with the PEDIGREE® Brand, provided additional support to several shelters in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

MuttNation also sponsored Gabe, the 2012 military dog nominee in the American Humane Society’s Hero Dog Awards. Gabe was recognized for his service during deployment in Iraq, where he completed over 210 combat missions with 26 finds of explosives and weapons.

Animal Support ( is dedicated to addressing pet overpopulation and abuse by promoting charities working on behalf of animal well-being. The organization was founded by brothers Dr. Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi, along with long-time friend Maria Abaca, to advocate for animal protection, rescue, adoption, and spay and neuter laws. The MuttNation Foundation ( is a nonprofit organization that works closely with animal rescue centers, animal shelters and animal rehabilitation and training services in order to increase awareness about spaying and neutering programs, conscientious pet ownership, unnecessary euthanasia and pet adoption. Founded by Country Music star Miranda Lambert, the Foundation solicits donations and sponsors benefit concerts for private charities and governmental agencies dedicated to building and expanding animal shelters and veterinary hospitals, and training shelter dogs for police, military, and therapeutic services.
