HMP Communications Holdings, LLC (HMP), a leader in healthcare communications and education, today announced Desert Springs Hospital as its most recent “Facility in Focus” inductee, a special designation given to exceptional wound care facilities from around the country through HMP’s journal, Today’s Wound Clinic.

Desert Springs Hospital is located in the backyard of the upcoming Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Fall (SAWC Fall) conference in Las Vegas, NV from September 27-29, 2013. Collectively, these efforts further support Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval’s proclamation of September 2013 as Chronic Wound Care Awareness Month.

The editorial team from Today’s Wound Clinic, along with SAWC Fall officers, will be on-site at the Desert Springs Hospital from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 to engage local media and conduct interviews for the upcoming “Facility in Focus” feature article.
