Microsoft Windows Server 2012 is the 6th release of the Windows application and it is available in four editions including the Foundation edition, retail Essentials edition, Standard and Datacenter edition. Windows Server 2012 has increased cloud computing capabilities, a new IP address management tool, and an improved Windows Task Manager. Windows Server 2012 R2 is the most current release of Windows Server having just been released June 3, 2013. The R2 version has three editions including Essentials, Standard and Datacenter. Some of the enhancements to this version include automated tiering, deduplication for VHD, and improved VM deployment.

Currently Tim works as a systems architect for Explorer Pipeline. He was named a Microsoft MVP in System Center Operations Manager/System Center Essentials in 2007. Tim shares regularly shares his expertise in online user forums and community sites.
