Evidence in Motion Graduates Fifty-Five Students from Executive Program
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- The Evidence In Motion (EIM) Institute of Health Professions has graduated 55 students from the Executive Program in Private Practice Management program. The group includes 42 students who are getting their Doctorates in Physical Therapy (DPT), had their DPT or are DPT candidates. EIM’s Executive Program is a rigorous twelve-month “MBA style” educational program with advanced business courses allowing private practice physical therapy owners to implement strategies and tools that build a competitive advantage in today’s healthcare environment.
“The greatest benefit of the EPPM program is the interaction that continues after graduation,” states Larry Benz, DPT, OCS, MBA, EIM owner, and Executive Program Director. “Our expanding community of private practices consult and collaborate well after the 12-month course is complete. We are very proud of these graduates who are now better trained and equipped to deal with the challenging and ever-changing healthcare environment. We are fortunate to have an on-going strategic partnership with the Private Practice Section of the APTA which has broadened our reach of private physical therapy practices.”
These graduates make a total of 249 that the EIM Institute of Health Professions has conferred through its Executive Program. The Executive Program is launching its sixth cohort this September with close to 40 new students.
The Executive Program employs faculty from all over the United States who have real private practice experience, as well as solid educational backgrounds. Evidence In Motion has formed a strategic partnership with the Private Practice Section of the APTA through its Executive Program. Students not only learn from exceptional faculty, but also build long lasting professional partnerships among each other during the program. EIM’s faculty has received ninety-five-plus research grants, totaling over $10.5 million. EIM faculty members have also taught 220-plus university level courses, founded over forty different business organizations, and held appointed positions in forty-plus state and 115-plus national and international professional associations.
The program is affordable and flexible for busy practice owners and managers because it employs a hybrid model of online education and on-site intensives, which demonstrates a best-in-education approach. This is the exact approach that Evidence In Motion founders envisioned and have successfully used to graduate over 194 physical therapists in its APTA credentialed Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency and Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship Programs.
In addition to the Executive Program Postprofessional DPT, EIM also offers a Musculoskeletal Postprofessional DPT. EIM’s Postprofessional DPT in Musculoskeletal Management is clinically oriented in its curricula and led by EIM’s distinguished faculty, which is comprised of some of the foremost leaders in physical therapy education, research, and practice. 128 students have graduated with doctorates from EIM Musculoskeletal Postprofessional DPT Program.
