We had such fun building this campaign and showing our customers how we use personalization and variable data to generate interest and create impactful communication.
Reading, PA and Lancaster, PA (PRWEB) September 26, 2013
A gingerbread man, QR code, variable imaging and holiday video were part of a package that helped The Standard Group, Pennsylvania’s premier print and integrated communications company, win two prestigious National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) Marketing Plus Awards.
Competing against hundreds of entries from printing and graphic firms, The Standard Group earned Gold Awards in the Direct Mail Marketing and the Cross-Channel & Digital Marketing categories.
The awards recognized the company for its fun, whimsical and strategic 2012 holiday card, which was shaped like a gingerbread man cookie. The interactive card, with more than 28 variations and 11 personalized elements, highlighted the staff’s creativity and direct-mail capabilities, including generating impactful and memorable multi-channel communications for customers. The package also incorporated a promotional website, QR code, holiday music video and Facebook sharing function.
“We are ecstatic to win two NAPL Marketing Plus Awards. We had such fun building this campaign and showing our customers how we use personalization and variable data to generate interest and create impactful communication," said Scott Vaughn, The Standard Group’s CEO. “And with direct mail response of over 34 percent and order conversion of 66 percent I think our customers appreciated this campaign just as much. I am so proud of our team’s creative achievement.”
The NAPL Marketing Plus™ Program recognizes graphic communications companies across the country for outstanding achievement in marketing. In addition, the program celebrates companies that have demonstrated their ability to realize the full potential of marketing in all its forms as a key driver of their success and growth.
“We continue to be impressed by the high quality of these entries from companies of all sizes,” says NAPL Marketing Director Samantha Lake, who led the judging panel. “The innovative and highly effective use of print and multi-media is proof that printers worldwide are not only embracing, but excelling in their role as marketing services providers.”
