On July 19th 2013 JM Direct Inc. hosted a successful networking and fundraising event in New Orleans, Louisana for their philanthropy, Operation Smile.
Thanks to other independent marketing and sales firms across the southeastern region who attended the event at Walk-On’s bar and bistro, Kevin Mosley, owner of JM Direct Inc., was happy to announce that "we raised enough money to give a child a life changing surgery in just two hours!"
Event attendees bought raffle tickets to win executive coaching from top marketing consultant, Ed Cunliffe. The winner of the night’s raffle was Quincy Jones out of the Knoxville, TN. office.
JM Direct Inc. plans to have many more successful events this year for Operation Smile including a chili cook-off to celebrate college football.
Operation Smile is a nonprofit international children’s medical charity providing cleft lip and palate repair surgeries. As of March 2013, the organization reports that it has provided more than 3.5 million comprehensive patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with facial deformities.
