WealthTouch, Inc. Announces Appointment of President
DENVER, Colorado (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- WealthTouch, Inc. today announced that it has appointed Craig Pearson as President. The appointment of Pearson, a leading financial technology executive with extensive experience in the global wealth management industry, signals a renewed focus on product innovation and international expansion for one of the world’s largest and fastest growing consolidated investment reporting service providers. Since joining WealthTouch in 2010, Pearson advanced through a series of senior leadership positions, most recently serving as Managing Director of Global Business Development. In this role, Pearson drove WealthTouch’s rapid growth at two-times the industry average and led the company’s successful extension internationally to serve ultra-high net worth families (“UHNW”) in seven additional countries outside the US.
Following the announcement, Pearson stated, "I am honored to lead WealthTouch, the established market leader for outsourced consolidated investment reporting and expense management, and energized about renewing our commitment to being the absolute best at supporting the information needs of the most complex, and globally diversified, UHNW families. While other service providers are increasingly exiting the complex side of the industry, WealthTouch is reinvesting in our core capabilities to provide even better, faster, more accurate and more comprehensive reporting for the wealthiest and most sophisticated clients in the world. It is an exciting time in wealth management and WealthTouch is optimally positioned to effect meaningful impact on our industry by continuing to deliver the transformative technology and comprehensive service solutions required by this exacting client base.”
"The Board of Directors believes that Craig’s exceptional track record at WealthTouch, as well as his 20 years of experience in the financial technology industry, make him the optimal leader for the Firm during this time of unprecedented opportunity and expansion. We are excited for the company’s future and the prospects for even greater acceleration of growth and innovation under his stewardship," said Tony Bloom, Chairman of the Board.
Pearson has worked in the wealth management and financial technology industries throughout his career. Prior to joining WealthTouch, he held leadership positions at several leading financial technology firms, including Charles River Development and Thomson Reuters, focusing on delivering trading, compliance, portfolio management, data and consolidated reporting software solutions. Earlier on, he also worked as an investment banker (Arthur Andersen) and served as an UHNW investment advisor (Legg Mason). Pearson holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Finance from Bentley College.
