North Adams, Massachusetts (PRWEB) September 25, 2013

MotorHead Media and its niche-focused website, RacingJunk.com announced a partnership today with Texas Motorplex that kicked off at the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals event. RacingJunk.com, now the Official Classifieds of Texas Motorplex, will also be the title sponsor of several bracket races and the 2014 Fast Friday season opening event. The sponsorship will focus on benefits for both competitors and fans of the track.

“RacingJunk.com and Texas Motorplex have the pleasure of catering to the same incredible audience of enthusiastic car and motorsports fans,” Texas Motorplex President and General Manager, Gabrielle Stevenson, said. “I’m thrilled we have created a partnership that will bring our customers and guest’s event better service, special offers and more.”

The Texas Motorplex is a quarter-mile drag racing facility located in Ennis, Texas. Built in 1986 by former funny car driver Billy Meyer, the Motorplex was the first National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) "super track." It annually hosts the AAA Texas Fall Nationals each September, when hundreds of professional and amateur drag racers compete for prize checks, Wally trophies and valuable Countdown championship playoff points. It was the first all concrete strip ever created within the NHRA's schedule of events.

“We are very excited about our new partnership with Texas Motorplex. They have a great staff of people who are passionate about drag racing on all levels.” said Shawn Stewart, MotorHead Media, Director of Business Development. “We are looking forward to building a greater connection with their dedicated racers and fans; providing benefits to all through RacingJunk.com and our other MotorHead Media websites.”
