Georgetown Wooden Boat Show and Bridge2Bridge Half Marathon Will Go on in Wake of Front Street Fire
Georgetown, South Carolina (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- The City of Georgetown South Carolina suffered a fire that destroyed a portion of the Historic Harborwalk section of Front Street. While the loss of the businesses and homes is shocking and difficult, the town is already moving forward.
The Georgetown Wooden Boat Show is one of the most popular events in the area and the show will go on. Susan Sanders, Director of the SC Maritime Museum shared, "The Boat Show Committee has already agreed that the community needs the Boat Show more this year than ever, and we plan to make it the biggest and best."

Organizers of the Third Annual Georgetown Bridge2Bridge Half Marathon, 12K and 5K Run have also announced that their event will continue as planned.
