HTTPS means security – if you choose a proxy of this type, the connection to the proxy will be wrapped in SSL encryption.

idcloak launches a free Polish Proxy List for office staff in Poland who need to bypass restrictions on their company network and access websites of their choosing.

“Employers tend to regard sites such as Facebook or YouTube as distractions and make them unavailable to their staff,” explains idcloak's Robin Welles. “But by inserting an IP address from the list into the browser of a computer or mobile device, staff may connect to a server outside the local network and bypass the local blocks.”

The fact the proxy servers making up the list are all based inside Poland means the user's connection is not slowed by long distance travel to other countries.

For some, however, the list may seem dauntingly unfamiliar. Welles relates how the list works and which proxies the user should choose, “The list contains two important pieces of data – the IP address and the port number of a proxy server. Once you have these pieces of data, all you need to know is where to place them. We have a proxy list FAQs section for newcomers to IP proxies. It explains how to find proxy settings on various browsers.

“Then comes the question of which proxy to choose. For maximum speeds, the user should not only go for proxies with high-speed test results but make sure they favor proxies that appear first. The list is ranked by most recently tested, so the statistics of the highest ranking proxies are the most dependable.”

Welles also recommends that users only select HTTPS proxies in order to conceal their activity from those running the local network. “HTTPS means security – if you choose a proxy of this type, the connection to the proxy will be wrapped in SSL encryption. Network administrators will not see that sites like Facebook or YouTube are being accessed.”

idcloak is soon to release a software-based unblocker that is operated through intuitive software: the idcloak VPN. Currently an early bird discount is available for the VPN and comes with a free, one week trial.
