Lifeloc Technologies Announces New Director of Engineering Jorgen Frandsen; International Engineer on Board in New Role to Advance Lifeloc’s Product Lines

Lifeloc Technologies (OTC:LCTC), a leading manufacturer of professional breathalyzers for evidential breath testing application in Workplace, Law Enforcement, Corrections and Schools is pleased to announce Jorgen Frandsen as its new Director of Engineering. Jorgen joined the Wheat Ridge, Colorado based company in September 2013.

“Jorgen will be instrumental in accelerating the Lifeloc stream of new breath alcohol testing products for our domestic and international Workplace and Law Enforcement markets,” stated Barry Knott, President of Lifeloc. Jorgen has been involved in more than 24 new product initiatives in industries ranging from wireless systems, and medical devices to computer peripherals. His experience also includes high volume manufacturing process control. Jorgen will champion Lifeloc’s efforts to accelerate the development and successful commercialization of new fuel cell based breath alcohol testing products and related drug testing technologies. This includes Lifeloc’s growing line of passive alcohol sensing and calibration equipment.

Jorgen has held a number of executive-level engineering roles in high-tech companies and has directed engineering teams in the United States, Canada, Japan and Europe. Jorgen was born in Denmark and moved to Canada during his early years. He has made his home in Colorado since the 1980s and is a graduate of the University of Colorado.
