Leading Global Manufacturer Adopts DocOrigin 3.0
Cape Coral, Florida (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- Eclipse Corporation, a provider of enterprise document generation solutions, announced today that global manufacturing innovator, ABC INOAC has selected DocOrigin 3.0 from Eclipse to support their document systems environment. ABC INOAC needed to replace outdated legacy systems that were about to be sunset. The new version of DocOrigin was adopted to support the migration.
According to Eclipse CEO Steve Luke, the solution made sense because of DocOrigin’s ability to tightly integrate with ABC INOAC’s vast enterprise resource planning system. “As a major supplier to the automotive industry, ABC INOAC has an extensive ERP infrastructure based on the QAD platform,” explains Luke. “The new version of DocOrigin makes it easy to migrate mission critical documents systems on QAD. This has provided ABC INOAC with a big advantage in terms of integration, flexibility and scalability.”
Annette Swartz, Systems Analyst leading the project at ABC INOAC agrees. “Eclipse made our job much easier in what was already a complex and mission-critical undertaking,” says Swartz. “We had our hands full, and not only did DocOrigin perform beyond our expectations, so did the team at Eclipse.”
With their older JetForm document generation system soon to be sunset, ABC INOAC will now use DocOrigin to generate a variety of mission-critical documents including invoices, statements, picking and packing slips, AP checks and more. In addition to providing a migration path from outdated legacy systems, the company will save approximately $70,000 in software licensing fees by adopting DocOrigin. “Replacement of JetForm Central with DocOrigin is a no-brainer for companies which have depended on Central for years,” explains Luke. “Many of the original founders and developers of Central created DocOrigin.”
