The Four Seasons Cultural Series in Sunny Isles Beach Opens with the Florida International University Jazz Big Band on October 13th
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- The City of Sunny Isles Beach is excited to begin the fifth year of this cultural series, with the Florida International University (FIU) Jazz Big Band, directed by Jim Hacker. The group will perform at Heritage Park (19200 Collins Avenue) at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013.
Florida International University and the City of Sunny Isles Beach enjoy a unique partnership of cultural exchange. To the delight of residents in the City, the students and faculty of the university’s music department show off their talents at various City venues throughout the year. This ongoing cultural series will be presented four times this year and includes the FIU Jazz Big Band, vignettes performed by FIU Opera students, excerpts from the best shows on Broadway by the FIU Musical Theatre students and a performance by world–renowned concert pianist Kemal Gekic.
Residents presenting a SIB Resident ID Card may attend all the concerts in the series for free. Concert goers without a SIB Resident ID Card will be charged a nominal fee to enjoy each world class performance.
Free parking for the October 13th event will be available at the Heritage Park parking garage, as well as under the William Lehman Causeway.
