The new Lavu software version 2.2.2 adds solutions specific to the restaurant industry. New business-centric features include a real-time inventory count-down and warning system, a job roles feature for time record tracking, and management level access to open orders. Happy Hour features have been enhanced as well.

Lavu iPad POS now includes a Customer Database feature set, which lets the restaurant staff create new customer entries or search through existing customer’s histories. This feature improves efficiency with phone orders, enables targeted email marketing, and provides insight and deeper understanding of restaurant customer demographics.
Lavu 2.2.2 includes the added ability to configure the printing of merchant and customer copies of Tab PreAuth transactions.
