Rod Wells, of Troy Chemical located in Geauga County, has been asked to speak at the Powder Coating Show in St. Louis, Missouri, which will be held from October 8th through the 10th. The topic of his presentation will be an introduction to Six Sigma processes that will help companies to reduce variation and waste.
“This is a great opportunity to share the expertise that we have developed at Troy Chemical,” said Wells, “I’m looking forward to helping new team leaders understand how useful Six Sigma processes can be in improving the quality of production systems.” The focus of the annual Powder Coating Show is to provide information and contacts to companies for whom powder coating is their primary business or who believe they will be working with powder coating in the near future. The show itself features technical information and the newest in technology for companies in the powder coating industry.
“Being asked to speak at the Powder Coating Show is a real honor,” said Wells, “We have been attending the show annually and have found it to be a great resource of technical knowledge and a business building event. I look forward to meeting with people after my talk to provide them with additional knowledge that will help them in their own business.”
Attending the Powder Coating Show will be a variety of leaders from the powder coating industry, including business owners, sales and marketing representatives, engineers, plant managers and quality control personnel. In addition to Wells’ address on Six Sigma, the company will be hosting a booth where they will be available to speak to interested parties on their contribution to the powder coating market. Representatives of Troy Chemical can be found at booth #433 during the three day show.
