PowerObjects, a leader in offering service, support, education and add-ons for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, has been invited to join the Yammer Customer Engagement Partner Program (YCEPP). Yammer developed YCEPP to train and certify personnel at key partners in implementing the social technology at the workplace and providing change management consulting.
Yammer has millions of users across the world, and has been implemented in 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies. Microsoft purchased the technology in 2012, and now Yammer is available through the Office 365 portal. PowerObjects views Yammer as another tool that can be added to the Microsoft stack to help Dynamics CRM customers streamline their business processes and help their employees work and collaborate more effectively.
“For more and more organizations, Yammer is an essential workplace tool for to break down silos, increase knowledge sharing, and facilitate open collaboration,” says Gretchen Opferkew, Director of Education at PowerObjects. “It’s a completely different way of communicating. Through the YCEPP program, we’ll be learning various ways we can help organizations implement Yammer and tailor their business processes so that they get the most out of it.”
YCEPP participants can become certified as Power Users, Administrators, and Community Managers. Each certification track requires completing a variety of activities, such as participating in online learning modules, Yammer Customer Network activities, and regional two-day workshops. These training opportunities focus on providing a deeper level of knowledge into the five steps of the Yammer social journey methodology.
“PowerObjects has successfully been using Yammer internally for a few years now, and we’ve seen first-hand how it can transform the way a company communicates,” says Opferkew. “We’re really excited to learn even more innovative ways to implement Yammer—particularly in relation with how it can integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.”
