TrueLook announced today that the Durham Bulls Athletic Park has installed a new HD webcam. The new TrueLook webcam provides live HD images from inside the ballpark, and allows any viewer to remotely control the camera.
The park has upgraded to the HD camera for an upcoming multi-million dollar renovation. Fans can view live updates as the renovation takes place during the off-season. The camera can pan and tilt at the user’s command, and also features a powerful optical zoom. Any number of simultaneous users can aim and zoom the camera witihout affecting one another, as the camera intelligently captures different photographs for each user.
The webcam interface also allows users to view time-lapse videos of the renovations, up to the current date. A drop-down menu provides access to all scheduled time-lapses. The camera also features social sharing and email sharing features. A preset menu also lets users quickly select a view for the camera, letting them effortlessly aim the camera to certain points of interest. The camera is currently live on WRAL.com as well as being embedded on the Durham Bulls website.
